Sky Bather

Continuing from the blog about floorboards, what do you see when you look at this blurry image? As my eyes come to rest, the moon looks like the head of a swimmer, turned to one side as s/he does a crawl. The cloud at the top is the raised arm and the rest falls into place as the top of the swimmer's torso. A Sky Bather.

Just to prove that I can take a half-decent shot, here is a picture from my homeward journey on Saturday night. I caught sight of it on the wild and lonely Skipton Old Road towards Colne and was aching for it not to be covered up by the time I reached the first safe parking space. Beautiful. Like coming out of a black hole and entering a new universe.
It's a picture for Nicola, currently battling with fibromyalgia, and one of life's avid moon-watchers.
