The Illustrations for The Boy With Four Hats were all produced in graphite pencil to add an air of the Dickensian era in which the book was set. They were drawn by myself and my daughter Emma-Jane Dennis in the style of George Cruikshank.  They were reproduced as tiny inset miniatures throughout the book which was printed on off-white, vellum-like paper to add to the overall antiquated style.
